Ok.
I'm giving this blogging thing a try. Each time I log in to Blissfully Domestic Living, and find myself staring at my profile where it says : url site/ i don't have one, I feel funny. Then, as I surf other blogs, I feel shame in peeking into other people's lives without giving them a glimpse of my own. Soooooooo.....here I am.
My name is Stephanie/Steffie, and I am happily married. This is the second time around, and as challenging as it can be to blend families, I feel I've found the love of my life. We live near Nashville, in the country. We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. Along with the goats, we have 6 other dogs: Great Pyrenes, Chloe Boxer: Zoe Shih Tzu: Gizmo Maltese: Baxter English Bulldog: Lilybug English Bulldog: LulaBelle. There are 3 cats roaming around, Macy, Peanut, and Zeus. My older son has a lizard named Brutus, and that pretty much sums up the zoo. Do we have too many? Uhm..that would be a big ole' yes. Do I wind up taking care of the majority of them? Uh, yes again. Pain in the ass that they are at times, they do supply me with an endless supply of stories in the category of "You aren't going to believe this!"
I have 3 children: Megan, 19 Trey, 14 Camden, 11. Meg and Camden came with me, and Trey came with his dad, and then we blended...blended...and blended some
more, until we finally got the mixture right. Blending a family is still a daily adventure, even after the initial blend. There are lumps in the mix that need to be incorporated, pieces stuck to the sides and bottom. Sometimes we get it right, other times, not so much. One thing we do have in our favor however: Love. There is plenty of love, and I believe that's what keeps us all working hard at being a family.
That's pretty much it ....if you have any questions, please ask!!
